Do not place anything on his face. Make sure a blank page when you go to bed or sleep. I mean really clean, like every day more if it drools a lot.

Well, it can not hurt. Have you tried the aloe vera plant on it? Cut (a small piece sure to wash with warm water only make sure to remove the dirt) and use it against him in a small area first. Check to see if it works, if so ....... not go.
Aloe Vera is too good for many things very well for diaper rash. Good luck!
